Focus: accessibility

Making websites accessible to all is very important. Many web visitors have some form of physical impairment, but others may simply choose to access the internet in different ways. Physical impairments may be visual, auditory, physical or cognitive. Other people may be using a kiosk or a mobile phone, using a second language, be in a public and noisy environment, have a low bandwidth available or just not be able to read very well.

Addressing accessibility may be a legal requirement in some cases, but whether it is a legal requirement or not, disabled users make up about 15% of the population - that is a lot of market share to be missing out on, if these people can't access your site.

There are guidelines for making a site accessible, and we will aim to follow these when creating your site.
